Story
Hi there!
As the butterflies glide from flower to flower, so I long yet again to glide into the Yarra River, not as a graceful butterfly but as a caterpillar and a grumpy one at that. Why grumpy you say? - well he has just eaten too many plastic fruit stickers and has a stomach ache.!
If you are also sick of munching through fruit stickers or pulling them out of your compost or don't think we need more plastics in the world then maybe you would consider supporting me. The money raised from my Birdman jump goes to Tearfund Australia who do fantastic development work in poor communities around the world. As our global governments cut back on aid budgets the work of Tearfund is even more valuable and appreciated in many poor areas.
The Birdman Rally is held on Sunday 8 March 2026 from 11am to 1pm at Birrarung Marr , come and say Hello if you are in at Moomba.
Donations made through this platform are secure and tax deductable.
Thanks so much for your support as I try to add another voice to call for the reduction of non biodegradable plastics as well as raising money for a great cause - Tearfund.
